I really love these shoes to be honest. They are super comfortable and sturdy for hiking. I've had these for about a month now and they are great. I hike every week and can walk from 2 hours up to 6 and these shoes hold up support wise. Breaking them in for me wasn't too uncomfortable. They hurt my heals a little bit but it stopped after 3 or 4 wears. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly. They can make your feet hot in the summer but it's worth it to have good support during a hike and not go home with aching painful feet. I also feel these are a good quality for the price. Not too much more than buying some sneakers. I also don't think the water proof versions of these shoes would be worth it unless you're running through water or are willing to hike in heavy rain.
