Good backpack for hiking. Just wish it had more compartments. I kept losing things in the main area resulting in me having to take everything out to find stuff.Love the color on this backpack. Took this on a 9mile hike and worked perfectly. Just enough room to carry all I needed and hold a jacket. The side pouch on the belt was perfect for little things like lip balm and a small snack. Wish there was another one on the other side. The trekking pole attachments held well. Side pocket was perfect for my Nalgen bottle. The back support was great and seemed to keep my back ventilated well. Belt straps did help maintain balance. The one gripe I have is it doesn’t come with the hydration bladder so buy that separate. Also, you can’t find a Thule one but any will do.Buenos acabados y buena distribución de los espacios.First time getting a real hiking bag but I used it as a carry on for my trip to Costa Rica in March and it was so useful and can fit so much in it! It gets uncomfortable after wearing it for long periods of time. But overall great quality and great bag! Will get a bigger one in the future for backpackingGreat purchase. Thule never disappoints.Fast delivery, great quality, good size.Incredible backpack.I love the color (mine is the deep purple that leans toward burgundy - as in the color of the wine ;)) and I am just as enthusiastic about the engineering and design of this backpack. The interior of the purple pack is orange. What I like best:— The torso adjustability. This adjustability feature and it really makes a huge difference in how the weight of the backpack feels. Once I was able to get that part set to my torso length, along with the correct shoulder strap adjustments, I found that I didn't spend time fussing with the straps every half mile in order to be more comfortable.— The pole holder is in a really convenient place to make your pole a very easy grab.— The hydro pack pocket. Although there are water bottle pockets on the sides of the pack, the fact that you can also use a hydro pack is a plus for long treks.— The hip padding is more than sufficient to make carrying a loaded pack as easy a task as possible. There is a convenient fanny-pack pouch on one of the hip pads as well.— The pack is arched away from the back. This is a bit of engineering that I love because it allows as much air flow between the pack and your back as possible.— The rain cover. It is easily deployed from a pocket at the bottom of the pack and quickly covers the pack. No digging around to find it in an unexpected downpour. It is attached to the backpack by a click closure that is sewn to the lower middle of the cover - that way the cover can go snugly around the pack while staying securely attached to the pocket without leaving any openings for water to get in. The click closure allows for the rain cover to be completely removed from its pocket as well.Other notable features:— The use of mesh on the shoulder straps, hip padding and the adjustable panel that makes some contact with the upper back also helps keeps things cooler.— One large main compartment, with several easily-accessible smaller pockets, zipped and otherwise make organizing the contents very easy. There are a couple of mesh pockets on the inside of the bag, the larger of which is also accessible from the outside of the pack.— Straps everywhere. Adjustment straps pull the pack tight so keep the contents from moving inside the pack while you walk. This is a great feature because contents that move back and forth as you walk causes more stress on the body than secured contents. There are plenty of loops for carabiners to hang on as well.— Adjustable chest straps with an easy click closure.I'm of the opinion that Thule makes some of the highest quality products on the market, and this backpack is no exception. It's a beautiful, very high quality backpack. This is on the larger end of daypacks, filling a perfect size niche in our camping gear. See my picture where I've placed it between a 22 liter Camelback and a 65 liter Osprey. For being a 35 liter pack it doesn't weigh much more than the 22 liter pack while providing quite a bit more versatility. However, I'd still choose the pack based on our daily activities. Here's a few examples: - 22 liter: Just myself on a warm day or with only needing a few lightweight layers. I've worn this to hike a Colorado 14'er and it was pretty tightly packed. - 35 liter: Cooler day with a need for potentially heavier layers. Possibly packing stuff for others (kids). Room for more substantial lunch. It does feel bigger on my back, so I would still use the 22 liter for a smaller feel. The color is great and it is really versatile with nicely placed pockets. The adjustable fit works great for me and the hip strap is really comfortable, definitely more so that my 22 liter camelback.I don't think this pack will work for taller people. Even at its largest adjustment size, my husband (5' 11") said it put the hip straps to high for him. So, if that is a consideration for you, don't get it.The back padding is comfortable, but it doesn't have the venting system that the Camelback or Osprey have (see pic). TBH, I still get sweaty with those that have the venting system, so I'm not too sure that it makes a huge difference.Functionally, I do have one complaint. The material on the underside of the should straps is a little rough. It feels scratchy enough that I can't wear this pack with a tank top. It also feels a little scratchy taking it on and off as I slide it down my arms.Well designed daysack and made from high quality materials by a reputable manufacturer. Disappointed to find the stretch mobile pocket on the shoulder strap was too small to hold a modern smart phone!!The pictures on the website are misleading as the bag is much smaller than it appears!!I love the colour and shape of this backpack. I love the side zipper that gives access to the main compartment without having to go through the top. I love the top flap. The size is very nice. The pack is hydration-compatible and comfortable to wear.If I was to make a change or two, I would include another side/belt pocket (there is only one) and also maybe include a built-in whistle with the chest strap.Overall, I am pleased with this pack, and the price was decent.
