I wear a size 9 and ordered size 9. The boots fit well with the exception of the toebox. They would be fine for normal feet but I have narrow heels and long toes. The toebox for me needs to be more rounded. Unfortunately I cannot do wide width because the heel would not fit properly. I returned the shoes but really loved how they looked and the quality.I have been wearing these boots in snow and ice all winter in Colorado and love them. They are light but warm and the soles really grip the ice. i have worn them in water and mud and they are waterproof. They fit perfectly! I love them, and my husband love's his in the men's size too.I was looking for something to wear while walking in the winter. So they needed to be lightweight and comfortable with a flexible sole -- like a sneaker but with protection from the elements. Right out of the box, these really fit the bill. Then I added a pair of my favorite insoles for a little more cushion and arch support, and now they're perfect! We haven't had any slippery conditions to test out the traction, but based on the soles, I don't think it will be an issue. I just wish I had bought them sooner!These keep my feet warm and dry here in Wyoming. Ti wear these indoors all day, and these have been quite comfortable without feeling like I'm trudging around all day.It hadn't gotten to wet slushy muddy season yet, but the upper doesn't really get wet - snow kinda rolls off of them - so they should keep to the water resistant promise.I bought these shoes for my wife, mostly for cold weather. I was looking for a good light warm and comfy boot to walk to work. I clocked about 6 km a day and I have to say that I am not disappointed at all. I have been wearing them for the last 2 weeks, they have kept me warm and dry. At -20 feet still nice and cozy, slushy condition? No worries, you'll stay dry. 1 feet a snow on side walks? 12% inclination hill, pretty good traction. Icy not as much. +++++I love these boots. The size 8 fits perfectly and that is my size normally in boots. They are lightweight with a good tread on the bottom and warm and comfortable. I haven't worn them in especially wet conditions, but have hiked in the snow and they stayed warm and dry. Also, the grey is exactly the color I wanted.Bought these for winter hiking/snowshoeing. Wore them on a hike today in Chilliwack BC, Canada with a pair of wool socks. Temperature was 5 Celsius and it started to rain. Terrain was mountainous with lots of slippery wet rocks and tree roots as well as mud and some snow. My feet were warm and remained dry and the grip of the soles was amazing on the wet stones and roots with the steep incline and decline. Perfect for the milder winters on the Pacific Northwest Coast that are wet.Wow, I love these boots. They are the first winter hikers I've owned and I am so happy with them. They keep my feet very warm and dry and I live where we have a lot of snow already! Perfect for snowy walks, and when my ankles are securly covered with ski pants, even worked great in deep snow. I live in the Canadian prairies so am around a lot of snow and deep freeze temperatures! I am very happy with this purchase, one of my best footwear purchases in awhile!I purchased these because I needed a new pair of boots to survive this Canadian cold winter and I have to say these are absolutely warm and support my ankles. I would recommend them. They are a good purchase.
