Salomon used to have a less stylish version; this one looks passable as a sneaker but man, the sole is pretty floppy and also the toe box is quite narrow, so it's not great for walking a lot. (I have wide feet)Nevertheless it got me through a 12 mile paddle where we had like 15 beaver dams over which to portage, it was very demanding, and these held up and were grippy and gave toe protection. And they dried faster than keens, and didnt smell too foot-y at the end (plus look nicer). But for this price I'd love a shoe I can also walk in.So I just received my Salomon Techamphibian 4s in the rhododendron wine color combo and love them! They are true to size and fit like comfy gloves around the top, but the toe box has plenty of room to wiggle my toes. I didn't vibe with the previous Salomon Techs because they're more rugged, thicker, and boxier like Keens. These Salomon Techs feel far more sleeker, have excellent arch support, and good tread. I can easily see myself using theses shoes for flat to semi-rocky trails with creeks/rivers, tubing, and beachside adventures.I bought these to wear hiking in the water in Utah. Solomon never disappoints. Right out of the box, hiked 10 miles through the Narrows, a perfect fit and no irritation on my feet. Plus they are great looking. Hands down myfavorite brand of sneakersAll perfect. Although, would be mi size if it has regular cushion as normal pair of shoes. So if you want to order them, order half size less than normalInitially I purchased this product because it served as a water shoe. For travel in addition to being able to submerge my feet in water, the sole has traction for very light hiking. I find the ability to convert the shoe into a clog useful, and I also use this shoe as a house slipper. It is so comfortable and multipurpose.Muy Buena marca y resistente duraderoI originally ordered these in a 5 1/2. I usually wear a 5 1/2 or 6. I had to return them and get a 5. The 5 fit perfect. I haven’t worn them yet other than to try on but will update my review once worn for their intended purposeI ordered men’s and women’s, I wear men’s 7.5 and women’s 8.5 in nikes or adidas and ordered these in men’s 7, 7.5, and women’s 8. The women’s 8 was narrow for my feet otherwise would have been ok but the 8.5 would be best so that’s what I’m ordering next. The men’s 7.5 were a perfect fit for my wider feet but I like these colors best. Till they make a white…then I’ll be in love!Beautiful coloured Salomon trainers which allow your feet to breathe. Unfortunately, Salomon used to produce more comfortable shoes years ago. These trainers did give me sore feet as I suffer from bunions, they are too tight around the front of the shoe.Absolutely thrilled with my new water trainers. Great value for money and they fit is as expected. Light weight and extremely comfortable to wear.Had to buy slightly larger size, otherwise the shoes are gorgeous!Very soft, light, and comfortableThese trainers are made slightly small.
