I absolutely love these boots. They fit perfectly and were comfortable from day one. I injured my ankle before I bought these boots and was tired of dragging around the heavy medical boot that set my hips out of alignment and caused additional pain in my calf and hips. I researched a shoe that provides ankle support and these came up in a variety of places. Every good thing said about them is true. I’ve worn them all day every day since I got them a few months ago. I am not easy on shoes yet they are just beginning to look broken in and rain drops don’t bead up quite as spherically as they did on day one. But remember I’ve been wearing nothing but these shoes nonstop for more than two months. I’ve walked in the woods, on the beach, and in the city and subjected these shoes to all weather. They’ve allowed me to stay active waiting for my injury to heal. I’ll but these again should they eventually wear out. Also maybe it was stupid of me to ditch my medical shoe. I don’t suggest you do the same. If you’re looking for a good hiking boot, this is one.
